Mr. Clayton, a native of Jackson, Tennessee, is a partner with Waldrop and Hall. He joined the firm in 1983 and later became a partner in 1988. His practice includes work in the areas of elder law, estate planning, commercial litigation, and insurance defense.
Education
In 1983, Mr. Clayton received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee and obtained his law license that same year. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in 1980.

Mr. Clayton is a member of the American Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association. He is also a member of the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association where he has served as treasurer.
