Practice

Ms. Wood, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, is an associate with Waldrop & Hall. She joined the firm in 2007. Her practice includes work in the areas of insurance defense, product liability, employment law, bankruptcy, and intellectual property. Ms. Wood was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in 2007 and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee as well as the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2008.

While attending law school in Arkansas, Ms. Wood clerked for the Plaintiffs’ Governing Committee (Littlepage Booth/Cohen & Malad) in the Prempro Multi-District Litigation, where she assisted with preparation for the federal bellwether trials. Ms. Wood later clerked for ALSAC / St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, where she focused on contracts and intellectual property.

Education

In 2007, Ms. Wood received her J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University in 1995, where she graduated cum laude with a major in Journalism/Public Relations and a minor in Philosophy.  She later completed graduate hours toward a master’s in Mass Communication.

Professional Memberships / Affiliations

Ms. Wood is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association. She is also a member of the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association, where she currently serves on the Board of Directors.
