Practice

Mr. Crews, a native of Paris, Tennessee, is a partner with Waldrop & Hall. He joined the firm in 1979.  Prior to joining the firm, he was a law clerk for the Honorable James W. Parrott on the Tennessee Court of Appeals for the Eastern District. His practice includes work in the areas of worker’s compensation defense, labor and employment law defense, and insurance defense. He has been asked to speak at numerous seminars in the areas of worker’s compensation and employment law.  He has also spoken on the topic of appellate argument in Tennessee. Mr. Crews was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in 1979.  He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee.

Education

In 1979, Mr. Crews received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he was a Harold Warner Scholar.  He graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1976, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.

Professional Memberships/Affiliations

Mr. Crews is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association where he served on the House of Delegates from 1988-1989.  He is also a member of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association and the Jackson Madison County Bar Association.
