Education Law

Waldrop & Hall represents and assists educational professionals in every aspect, from presenting preventative seminars during in-service sessions, appearing at administrative hearings, conducting investigations for boards of education and aggressively representing the interests of school systems through litigation of small and large cases in both State and Federal courts.  Members of the education law practice group have experience representing school boards, directors of schools, and administrators in a wide variety of matters such as those involving the Tennessee Education Professional Negotiations Act, the Tennessee Teacher Tenure Act, the Tennessee Governmental Tort Liability Act, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Special Education issues stemming from Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and Title IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
